A Hollywood Western theme sets the stage at Whiskey Creek in Kearney, Nebraska.  Peanut shells on the floor and a pit bar-b-que reinforce the cowboy movie atmosphere.  All the food on the menu is top notch but the beef is the thing at the Creek.  Fifty some margaritas, micro-brews on tap and the normal line-up at the bar are complimented by my favorite, the wine list.  Chateau Sovereign is served by the glass here and it's almost impossible for me to justify driving by without a quick stop.

Andy and Joel always treat me right when I swing in but, most importantly, there always seems to be a crowd of attractive ladies hangin' out at the bar when these two are on duty.

Ann and Charlie from Florida were passing through Kearney one night and stopped in and pulled up seats next to me at the bar.  A super nice couple traveling the country, seeing their kids and grandkids and enjoying life.  I had a nice chat with these two.
