My dad, Lawrence, turned 70 on August 3rd, 1999.  We had a little celebration at my folks house in Axtell.  My father is still a handsome dude.  His pride and joy are all of his nine grandchildren.  Something I have yet to produce for him.  My two sisters and my brother have picked up the slack though.  My father is a very smart man who taught me a great deal of what I know especially a strong work ethic, unshakeable morals, a deep respect for nature, how not to take any BS from anyone, not to follow the crowd and a complete spectrum of useable day to day skills including anything from carburetor repairs to plumbing.

Eight of the nine grandkids attended the party and, speaking of the little devils, here's my nephews Matt and Brian on the grass and Joe on the second floor.
