July 25th I performed at Cunningham's Journal in Kearney, Nebraska.  Brad is a bartender there and an all around great guy.  Kay has been one of my best friends for about 10 years.  Her parents Jerry and Shirley are also great friends and wonderful people.  Kay has a great voice and we do a few songs together whenever she's around.  She is so gorgeous that I usually ask her to step back so I can gawk at her for a few minutes when we first run into each other.  She understands my baser instincts and our relationship is purely plutonic.  Damn it!

Kelsey, Heather, Travis and Amy came all the way from Oxford to cheer me on and bail Casey out.

Heath Smallcomb is the proprietor at Cunningham's Journal.  He stands proudly in front of his Michigan flag awaiting the start of football season.  I have known him for a long time.
